How we can help you

The most important step in your recovery is understanding the factors contributing to your pain or movement problem. This is the focus of your initial consultation, which includes a detailed case history and a thorough physical assessment.

Who we can help

We assess and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the muscles, joints, and soft tissues. This includes neck, mid-back and low back pain, sciatica, and joint pain or stiffness in the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, and feet.

We also support people living with longer-term and complex conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and frozen shoulder.

In addition, we provide rehabilitation for sports injuries and recovery following surgery or trauma, including joint replacements, spinal surgery, tendon or ligament repairs, fractures, and joint sprains.

Education

Knowledge is power, and at Physio Solutions, education is treated as one of the most important parts of your recovery rather than an afterthought. Understanding what's actually happening in your body, why you're experiencing pain, and what the diagnosis really means transforms how you engage with your treatment. Rather than leaving an appointment with a vague sense of what's wrong, Kishan takes the time to explain your condition in clear, jargon-free language so that you feel informed, reassured, and in control of the path ahead.

This educational approach also covers the practical side of recovery: what activities to embrace, what to temporarily modify, when to push and when to rest, and how to recognise the signs that you're progressing well.

Patients who understand their condition tend to recover faster, manage flare-ups more confidently, and are far less likely to experience recurring problems.

By the time you finish your course of treatment, the goal is for you to feel not just physically better, but genuinely empowered with the understanding to look after your musculoskeletal health for years to come.

Exercise therapy

Exercise is one of the most powerful tools in physiotherapy, and when prescribed correctly, it can transform recovery. Whether you're dealing with weakness after an injury, stiffness from prolonged inactivity, tight muscles that won't release, or nerve irritation that's affecting your daily function, the right exercises, done in the right way, at the right time, can be the difference between short-term relief and lasting change.

Kishan designs exercise programmes that are specific to your diagnosis, your goals, and the realities of your lifestyle, so they actually fit into your week rather than feeling like another chore.

Rather than handing out generic exercise sheets, Kishan takes the time to teach you each movement, explain why it matters, and progress it as your body adapts. This evidence-based approach reflects his belief that long-term recovery comes from patients understanding their own bodies and feeling confident in how to look after them.

By the end of your treatment, you won't just feel stronger. You'll have the knowledge and tools to prevent future injury and stay resilient for the long term.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a well-established treatment within modern physiotherapy, used to relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, and support the body's natural healing processes. Fine, sterile needles are inserted into specific points to stimulate the nervous system, encourage blood flow, and trigger the release of the body's own pain-relieving chemicals. It can be particularly effective for chronic pain, persistent muscle tightness, tension headaches, and conditions where the nervous system has become overactive and is amplifying symptoms. For many patients, acupuncture provides relief in areas that have been slow to respond to other approaches.

Acupuncture Procedure

At Physio Solutions, acupuncture is never offered as a standalone fix but as part of a wider, evidence-based treatment plan. Kishan draws on his clinical assessment to determine whether acupuncture is the right addition for your specific condition, integrating it alongside manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and education to address both the symptoms and the underlying cause. Sessions are calm, comfortable, and fully explained from start to finish, so you know exactly what's happening and why, giving you confidence in each step of your recovery.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a cornerstone of effective musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and at Physio Solutions it's delivered with the precision and care that comes from over 13 years of NHS and private practice experience. Using a combination of joint mobilisation, soft tissue release, and targeted massage techniques, Kishan works directly with the structures potentially causing your pain or restriction.

Whether you're struggling with a stiff neck, a locked-up lower back, or a shoulder that simply won't move the way it used to, hands-on treatment can quickly reduce discomfort and restore the natural movement your body is designed for.

What sets Kishan's approach apart is the assessment that comes first. Rather than applying the same techniques to every patient, he takes the time to identify exactly which joints, muscles, or nerves are contributing to your symptoms, and just as importantly, why. This means each manual therapy session is purposeful, targeted, and built around your unique presentation. You'll leave each appointment not just feeling better, but with a clearer understanding of what was driving your pain and how to keep it from coming back

Home visits

We offer professional home visit physiotherapy across Leicester and the surrounding areas, providing expert assessment and treatment in the comfort and privacy of your own home. This service is ideal for anyone who finds it difficult to travel to a clinic, whether due to pain, mobility issues, recent surgery, a busy schedule, or simply a preference for one-to-one treatment in familiar surroundings. It's particularly valuable for post-operative recovery and for elderly patients who benefit from being assessed in the environment where they spend most of their time.
